A Letter from Saint Paul to Loreto Normanhurst Year 8
Dear Loreto Normanhurst Year 8,
I would like to first state that you are a wonderful and passionate group of young ladies who have an exciting journey ahead of them. I encourage you to maintain your faith and passion in Jesus throughout the experiences you face as I believe that many hopes and dreams will be succeeded.
You are very fortunate to be able to attend such a lively school. You should be grateful for the outstanding oppotunities you receive and the love and effort your parents give you to take you to where you are now. As human beings, we do take advantage of these opportunities that millions of children do not get and end up forgetting our loved ones. We also do sometimes forget our connectedness with others which shouldn't be the case despite their religion, culture or appearance. Every move or word that persecutes these outsiders pierces a thorn into Jesus's heart. Again, we must always remember to accept one another. Persecutions towards Christians in my era unfortunately occurred because they were loathed by the Romans and Jewish for their beliefs. But I am now impressed by the way your world has altered to promote international peace and security.
For young students like yourselves, life should be treasured like the wisdoms of the teachings of Jesus. That wisdom can be shown by your harmonised relationships between your friends and most importantly... your family. Sharing and loving one another is what has been shown to us and therefore we need to practise what has been preached. An example for treasuring life in your generation can be shown by honesty and kindness when communicating with people on what you teenagers call today "Social Media".
I therefore would like to wish you girls all the best for the future and may the Lord and God be with you.
Your Sincere Companion,
St Paul of Tarsus
